How To Make An Unbounce Page Into A Template

When y'all create a new template, you outset with an existing template (Blank, or any other template), make changes, then save it as a custom template. The original template remains unchanged. Custom templates appear in the My Templates category in the template chooser.

Note: Just templates that appear in the template chooser can be used to create new templates. If y'all want to use a custom template that's not in the template chooser, install it first.

In Pages, choose File > New (from the File bill of fare at the peak of your screen), and then double-click the template you want to start with.
Do whatever of the following:
- Delete an existing placeholder or groundwork graphic: Select the object you want to remove and printing Delete on your keyboard. If the object however can't be deleted, you may have to unlock it outset. If the object is on a section layout in a word-processing document, cull Arrange > Section Layouts > Make Section Layouts Selectable (from the Arrange carte at the summit of your screen).
- Create a media placeholder: Select an image or video, then choose Format > Advanced > Define as Media Placeholder (from the Format carte du jour at the elevation of your screen).
- Create a text placeholder: Select the text, then cull Format > Advanced > Define every bit Text Placeholder (from the Format menu at the meridian of your screen).
- Add a watermark or background object: In a word-processing certificate, select the text or object you lot want to place on the background, so choose Suit > Section Layouts > Motion Object to Section Layout (from the Arrange menu at the top of your screen). In a folio layout document, you can add watermarks and background objects to folio templates that are saved with the template.
- Add together a background color (folio layout documents only): In the Format sidebar, click Groundwork and choose a fill pick.
Choose File > Save as Template (from the File menu at the summit of your screen), then choose an option:
- Add to Template Chooser: Type a name for the template, then press Return. Your template appears in the My Templates category in the template chooser.
- Relieve: Type a name for the template, and then choose where you lot want to salvage it.
  
  If you lot salvage it to iCloud, the template appears as a downloadable file in the document manager the next fourth dimension you open up Pages on your iPhone or iPad.

If you don't want to keep the new template, you tin can delete information technology from the template chooser (see the task beneath). You lot can't delete templates that came with Pages.
